Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study - Hosea: Unfailing Love Changes Everything

Hosea, an Old Testament prophet, used his own personal, passionate, difficult love story of an adulterous marriage to illustrate the devastating doom and harsh judgment Assyria would bring on Israel; and God’s true, pure, continuing love and longing for the return for His covenant people, the Israelites who wouldn’t repent of spiritual adultery with false gods. Hosea showered his wayward wife with love that illustrates God’s compassion and unfailing love that cannot let His people go.

Please join us Oct. 1-Nov. 12, for Jennifer Rothschild’s DVD based study and workbook as we learn from Hosea about judgment, repentance, hope, love, and the promised Messiah. We meet in the multipurpose room at All Saints’ Church from 10 a.m.- noon. All women are welcome, and we’ve saved a place for you. Contact for more information or to order a workbook.

Foundations for Ministry

"No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

1 Corinthians 3:11

Foundations registration for the 2019-2020 academic year is now open.

Classes start on Sept. 8, 2019.

Foundations for Ministry is an adult Bible study course designed for those willing to make a serious commitment to daily Bible study.  It is intended for those who wish to deepen their understanding of Scripture and our Christian heritage.  It will also equip us to meet the challenges of daily opportunities for ministry in the Church and in the world. The course is divided into two academic years but students commit themselves to one year of study at a time.  A new class will begin in September 8, 2019. Class will meet on Sunday evenings from 6-8 p.m. at the church from September to June, breaking for 3 weeks at Christmas, 1 week at Easter and 1 week at Memorial Day.

Weekly Meetings include a teaching session and small group discussion. Discussions will be based on the weekly homework and will include topics such as Bible study skills, personal application, scriptural content, theological concepts, and interpretation of Scripture. The program requires a commitment to daily study, homework, class attendance and a willingness to share within a small group. Foundations small groups form a close-knit environment for participants to share what they are learning, grow in their knowledge of Scripture and their relationship with the Lord and one another.

Nursery care will be provided upon request. Please see our Nursery Policy for more details.

All participants require:

This class is led by qualified teachers and group leaders. Those teaching have many years of Bible study training and experience. Those leading the small groups are dedicated leaders with both small group and Bible experience.
