Discipleship Hour

Bishop's Visit & Confirmation Service

Bishop John Guernsey will be visiting All Saints’ Church November 3, for our annual Confirmation service. This is an invitation to anyone age 16 and older, who is baptized and ready to make a public affirmation of the faith. This is also a great opportunity for those who have come from another denomination and would like to be Received into the Anglican Church in North America, and for those who would like to Re-affirm their faith.

Preparation for this event (for adults) requires attending the Confirmation course on Sundays during discipleship hour (9:45-10:45 a.m.) from September 8 to October 27. Teenagers will attend one-on-one meetings with a member of the church leadership for individualized teaching.
Those wishing to Reaffirm their Baptismal Vows who have previously been Confirmed or Received into the Anglican Church are not required to take the Confirmation Course but are strongly encouraged to.

This class is also for anyone who might like to learn or relearn these things for themselves. These are foundational teachings that can help us as we share with others the traditions and principles our church is founded on. So come join us in September as we prepare, learn and remind ourselves of all that make us who we are. Join us as we learn the essentials of our faith, what it means to be an Anglican, and how we are to pursue a life in Christ.

The Gospel According to Luke: Savior, Christ, Lord

When: Sunday mornings, 9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

Where: Sanctuary

Luke wrote his Gospel in order that we may know the certainty of the things we have been taught. We will be examining Luke’s unique perspective on the life and ministry of Jesus and what it means to us and for us. This is a walk-in Bible study and new participants are welcome to join at any time.
