Getting to Know the Church: Stephen Bittner

This week, we’re introducing someone you may see each Sunday morning, but may not have gotten the chance to meet! Stephen Bittner is leading worship at both services in this season! Stephen, his wife, Natalie, and two daughters (Kiera and Isabella) started attending All Saints’ Church last year, and they have been a blessing to the All Saints’ community!

Cookies for Kairos!

It’s time for KAIROS! Suzy Speare and Carol Updike are team members of Kairos #44 scheduled for October 19 - 22 at the Central Virginia Correctional Unit for Women. Cookies can be brought to the church to the Kairos table in the atrium beginning October 1, October 8, and October 15.

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Update

Last year, All Saints' Church came alongside families to help provide Christmas gifts for over 300 children in need within our County for our Christmas "Un-Trim-a-Tree" giving project. With increasing numbers of children in need each year in our local area, as well as what God is doing within our church with local outreach, we are focusing our resources on rising Un-Trim-a-Tree needs.

Interested in Lay Eucharistic Ministry?

We need a few additional Lay Eucharistic Ministers (“LEMs”) to assist on Sunday mornings and at other special services throughout the year. If you would like to explore the LEM ministry, we would love to speak with you and answer any questions you may have about this ministry. Members of this team usually serve one Sunday a month.

Fall Parish Workday

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 28 from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. when we will gather for our seasonal Fall Workday! This is a group opportunity to come together as a church to take care of our church!

RSVP for Fellowship and Childcare during Bishop Bill's Teaching Series

There are three evenings of teaching by Bishop Bill Murdoch in October. All are welcome to attend Bishop Bill’s teachings on the Holy Spirit even if you are unable to make the dinners on Monday & Tuesday. Please RSVP if you will be attending dinner on Monday/Tuesday or if you need childcare for any evening.

Moms in Prayer Fall Kickoff: Coffee & Chocolate Fest!

Come relax and fellowship with moms of our church and community, while enjoying our favorite chocolates, chocolate treats, and complimentary coffee bar (Decaf available) on Monday evening, October 2.

Nursery Needs on the Rise!

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” With the Fall Kickoff and a growing church, the nursery has rising needs. Nursery Attendants are only asked to serve once a month, or as you are able. Can you help fill one of these needs?
