Our Vision and Mission

At All Saints’ Church, we have a vision (what we believe Christ has called us to be) and a mission (how we will get there, with Christ’s help.)

Our vision is to be a church overflowing with God’s love and healing power. You’ll see this on our website and printed materials, usually in this form:

Our mission is: In Jesus, we lovegrowserve and go to live out His Great Commandment and fulfill His Great Commission. This mission is represented by the cross, which combines the four areas of service as follows:

In Jesus, we Love, Grow, Serve and Go to live out His Great Commandment and fulfill His Great Commission.

We further define our mission by identifying the four areas of service:

LOVE is our calling to be transformed by a relationship with Jesus. Our hearts are touched and the Holy Spirit is present on our life of prayer and worship, our love for our neighbors, our confidence in being loved by God, and through our relationship with him. (Mark 12:30-31)

GROW is our calling to be in a life-long state of learning and teaching others. Our hearts and minds are central as we seek through the Holy Spirit to be filled with God's wisdom, healing, understanding, knowledge and mercy. (Ephesians 4:11-13)

SERVE is our calling to be Christ's hands and feet both inside and outside the church. (1 Peter 4:10)

GO is our calling to take the message of the Kingdom wherever the Lord sends us in the world. (Matthew 28:19-20)
