Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

— Philippians 4:6

All Saints’ Church has been called by God to be a “House of Prayer.” We welcome your prayer requests regarding any and all concerns or praise reports for you, your family members or friends.

Prayer Center

The All Saints' Prayer Center includes three comfortable rooms offering opportunities to pray for specific subjects, such as "Prayers for the Church" and "Prayers for our Nation."

Card boxes hold clearly stated prayer requests for each topic and simple information to guide prayers.

A "view only" schedule is available below to active All Saints' members. If you have difficulty accessing this schedule or would like to make any changes, please contact the office at 703-670-0093.

Prayer Requests

All prayer requests will be placed in our 24-hour prayer room, where they will remain for two weeks. Please be specific about your request, (e.g. healing of colon cancer, etc.) and please note your relationship to this person, (e.g. yourself or your mother, son, uncle, cousin, neighbor, co-worker, etc.) Please note, we would love to receive a follow-up report, whether more prayer is needed or your prayers are answered. Contact our office with your feedback or submit a praise report online. We love to give God praise for answered prayer!

Additionally, prayer requests submitted to announcements@allsaintswoodbridge.org by Tuesday, 5 p.m., will be printed in the bulletin. They will remain there for two weeks unless a new request is made for continued prayer.

  • Long-term prayer requests will be posted in the prayer center for continued intercession and supplication as prayer requests are extended every two weeks.

  • During the Prayers of the People, there will be a time for the congregation to participate aloud by lifting up either personal names or names listed in the bulletin.

  • The congregation is encouraged to inform the church of answered prayers and praises as well as requests for healing. These will be posted in the Prayer Center.

  • People in need of prayer are always encouraged to seek prayer from prayer teams located at the back of the church during Communion.

Prayer Ministry

If you are a part of our prayer ministries here at All Saints’ Church, or desire to be, please join us for one of our Sunday afternoon prayer meetings. We worship, learn, listen, and pray together as well as look at different teaching topics each month.

The monthly dates are posted on the web calendar, in the Sunday bulletins, and in the newsletter.
