All Saints’ Church is a member of the Cooperative Council of Ministries (CCoM) of Prince William County. We are scheduled to provide meals at Hilda Barg Homeless Prevention Center September 9-12, 2024 and we need many hands to help contribute to this important community ministry. Lunches for Neabsco's KinderCamp
We have another opportunity to share God’s love with the students and staff of Neabsco Elementary School. Each day next week we will be providing lunch for about 45 rising kindergarteners as they attend KinderCamp. All of the items needed to make these simple lunches are provided. We need two to three volunteers each day to assemble the lunches and deliver them to Neabsco Elementary School.
If you are available to help one or more days next week, please sign up here and/or contact Tammy for more info.
Thank-You Video from Dana & Damaris Craft in Guatemala
ACNA missionaries Dana and Damaris Craft work with an impoverished community in Guatemala City, Guatemala. There was a devastating fire last spring that displaced six families and All Saints’ sent a substantial emergency offering to assist with rebuilding.
At the 10 a.m. combined service on Sunday, July 28, Father Scott shared a video from the Crafts thanking the people of All Saints’ for their gift to, and prayers for, the landfill community where the Crafts minister.
If you missed it or if you’d like to see the video again, you can find it here.
Backpacks, Blessings, & New Beginnings
NEW August Sunday School for children begins this Sunday, August 4, 9:45 a.m. -10:45 a.m.
The transition back to school can often be a daunting time for children - a mix of anticipation and apprehension as they face a new academic year with all its challenges and changes. In this four-week “Back To School” children's Sunday School, we address these feelings by blending biblical teachings with practical advice, providing children with spiritual tools to navigate this vital phase confidently while reaffirming that God is their constant companion and source of strength. For Rising Kindergarten through Rising 6th-grade students. Nursery open for PreK and under.
Claire Fedele of SHADE to Speak on Sunday, August 4
SHADE is a Christian organization based in Tanzania that serves children, families and communities affected by albinism and other vulnerabilities.
Claire Fedele, Executive Director, will speak at both services on Sunday, August 4 about how SHADE is working to change the often horrific reality albino children face.
Children with albinism are rejected and hunted in Tanzania. Through education, advocacy, and outreach, SHADE works for change.
