Thirteen came through for prayer at last Saturday’s food pantry.
We had the garden-variety requests for health and healing for self and family members. Four requests were specifically for mental health: anxiety, depression, PTSD, and alcoholism. We also had a request for family members to be converted to Jesus.
It was such an encouragement to have Annie Rojas jump right in to pray in Spanish. It was obvious how comforting this was to our Spanish-speaking prayer recipients. Father Patricio also joined when he wasn’t greeting folks in the lobby.
The Holy Spirit showed up, but that is not news. He always does.
