Reserve Friday, December 18 for ASC’s Christmas Hot Cocoa & Manger Scene Drive-Thru
Volunteer sign-ups begin November 8
Join in for a NEW outdoor Christmas Outreach this December — invite your family, friends, neighbors, and those who don’t have a church home!
We will be distributing FREE hot cocoa from lighted tents in a drive-thru from the front of the church. After receiving their cocoa, visitors will receive a warm greeting and Christmas Eve service invitations from the clergy, including Spanish greetings from Patricio and Any (“Annie”).
Vehicles will proceed to view lighted wooden signs telling the Christmas story, ending with ONE (lit) manger scene of the creche/baby Jesus, with a costumed couple of Mary & Joseph.
The cars will end with a front view of the lighted Atrium with our beautiful large Christmas tree decorated in the center.
Our primary goal is to provide festive cheer to those passing by for last-minute shopping or driving to and fro for Christmas errands, presenting the true gospel message of Jesus Christ, come as a newborn King and Savior for all. AND, to invite the community to Christmas services at All Saints’ Church.
Along with parking attendants, we will need help: setting up tents with white lights, providing Christmas music, scene-setters for the manger scene, and a Hot-Cocoa-Crew to mix, simmer, stir, & pour (rotating outside and inside). And greeters to wave, smile, and wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Sign-ups begin in the Atrium this Sunday, November 8.
