Food Giveaway prayer report
We had a good turnout of people on September 12 who came in for prayer. Including a couple of people from All Saints', we totaled 27 overall. Some of the others who came in for prayer were families with four or five people together, including little kids.
We gave out at least five prayer shawls and four Bibles (two Hispanic and two English).
A couple things to note:
Mother Valarie prayed for a woman who wanted prayer for her hurting knee. There was a little bit of a language barrier, but Valarie knew enough Spanish to not only pray for her, but also to understand what she said. The woman went from saying her knee felt good to it felt better to finally excellent, meaning there was no more pain.
Others requested prayers for health and family.
We had a mother and son come in. The son is 24 and was leaving the next week for Army boot camp in North Carolina. They wanted prayers for safety and protection. After he received prayer, the man said he felt better.
A big thanks to Father Patricio for his help in translating for two groups that came in for prayer. It made things so much easier.
