We prayed for 13 people in 11 sessions at last Saturday's food pantry. Because we had some downtime, Valarie Whitcomb and Shelley Lingamfelter went out to the All Saints' Atrium and asked volunteers if they would like prayer. Three said yes!
We prayed for jobs and physical healing, mostly. There was one request specifically for immigration issues, including confusion and fear in that community.
One individual who came in at noon was an Iranian man desiring peace for Iran, regime change, freedom from fear and religious persecution, and peace without foreign interference.
As the prayer team began to pack things up, three separate, unrelated individuals ended up coming in for prayer 10 minutes before the food pantry stopped at noon. It was another good reminder to always be ready to pray for someone, even at the last second.
