Storytime in the Psalms:
Session 2 of Kids Summer Sunday Blast begins July 19th, 9:45 – 10:45 a.m.
Ages 3-Rising 6th Grade

Over the last seven weeks of summer, the children will learn a Psalm each week from the Bible, but with the use of storybooks to explore the scriptures!

The psalm will be read with illustrations and in poetic verse as we read such children’s “Golden” books as The Greatest Name on Earth (Psalm 8), God Knows Me (Psalm 139), and The Lord is My Shepherd (Psalm 23).

We will also read Let the Whole Earth Sing Praise by Tomi DePaola (Psalm 148), A Happy Song of Thanks (Psalm 92), and Strong (Psalm 1) by Sally Loyd Jones, the renowned author of the Jesus Storybook Bible. Children will respond to the Psalm of the week through worship instruments, crafts, table time play, small group conversation, and prayer.
