The Multi-Purpose Room Transforms into a Tea Café!

Over 40 All Saints’ women gathered in the Multi-Purpose Room this past Saturday for a Welcome Tea for Mother Maryanna.

Dragon Pearl Jasmine, Earl Grey, Hot Cinnamon Spice, and Indigo Punch (blue tea that turns purple when adding a lemon slice!) were just a few of the exotic teas enjoyed. Mother Maryanna’s favorite was Earl Grey while Tammy Bailey loved the Hot Cinnamon Spice.

Yomie Gutierrez arrived with colorful Mesh Flower Headbands (like British fascinators) for those who wanted to perch a favorite color mesh flower on the side or top of her head.

We enjoyed Walker’s short bread fingers, scones, tiny chicken/cranberry sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, baklava and many more homemade goodies.

Several women provided authentic tea cups from their grandmother’s china sets as well as their own tea cup collection. And many, many women helped put in place Lisa Fair’s decorative vision to turn the Multi-Purpose Room into a tea café!  A lovely time was had by all.
