What will your holiday season look like this year? How can we make time to, really, enter into this season of waiting and preparation? How might we turn this coming season into something to remember fondly in years to come? How do we reach out in a time when social distancing and other hindrances seem to get in the way? We have gathered some suggestions and some resources we hope will help.

Because of this generous congregation, there will be less hunger and less sadness this holiday season.

We are so inspired and encouraged by how many pledges have been turned in already!! If you have not sent in your pledge card via mail or submitted it digitally, will you please take a moment to do that? Having as many pledges in as possible will help the Vestry prepare the 2021 budget. Thank you!

Help provide Christmas for children in our community. This has been a long standing outreach for All Saints’ and your help is needed more than ever this year!

The annual Synod of the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic will be held online from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, November 21. Although only delegates will participate via a Zoom webinar, there are multiple ways for everyone to be a part of Synod 2020.

On November 26, Thanksgiving morning, you are invited to participate in the annual Thanksgiving service in-person or via streaming.

Youth! Recent photos and news about what’s happening over the next few weeks…including…FROLF!!

Our congregation has been so faithful in providing food for the hungry, especially during Covid-19. Alison Pachecano has stepped forward to get our generous food donations dated, organized, and bagged for hungry families. She is also willing to be available every other Saturday to distribute the bagged food to the hungry, but she will need a team of four people for each Saturday. Two people are in the atrium and two are outside. She will organize and schedule the teams.

During these days of division and turmoil in our nation and even within the Christian community, we as Christian must guard our hearts against division and strife. I want to commend to all of us for thoughtful reading, something which The Rev. John Yates, the recently retired longtime Rector of The Falls Church Anglican recently wrote to Young pastors. His godly counsel is something from which all of us can benefit during these challenging days.
