Office Volunteers Needed!
February Food Giveaway!
Saturday, February 11 is another opportunity to give food away to our neighbors in need. We have been averaging more than 200 people collecting food at each food giveaway! There is a real need in our community, and God is orchestrating a way for us to work together to share his love by meeting that need.
Volunteers are needed Thursday (sorting food), Friday (at the perishable food drive and helping with set-up), and Saturday at the giveaway. Sign up to serve and experience the joy of giving firsthand! This month we have an extra need for fresh produce!
It is a blessing to provide non-perishables as well as fresh meat and fresh produce to every family who comes! During the winter/spring months, we will not receive fresh produce from First Fruits Farm.
We especially need donations of fresh fruits and vegetables to be collected Friday, Feb. 10 between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.
Non-perishable Food items most needed:
cartons of oats
pancake mix
corn
Bread and fresh produce will be collected Friday, February 10 between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Please pray! This ministry belongs to God and only through Him are we able to make a difference in the lives of others.
Thanks again for all your support! If you have any questions, please contact Tammy.
“You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.”

Abortion Recovery Class at Life First
Are you or someone you know struggling with the guilt or grief that can follow an abortion? You are not alone. Abortion can affect a woman, physically, emotionally, and most importantly…spiritually.
Every one of us has made choices we wish we could undo. And some of us believe that we have done things that are unforgivable. However, our God longs for us to come to Him with our brokenness.
If abortion is part of your story (or someone you know) and you want to:
Receive His forgiveness
Learn to forgive yourself
Forgive others who influenced your decision
Grieve the loss of a child
Be able to console others who are unsure of God’s forgiveness
Life First invites you to join other women who have been forgiven and set free. Our Abortion Recovery Bible study provides support and encouragement as women work through the challenges and personal issues of abortion. Abortion recovery offers what no other place in our communities can: freedom from guilt and grief. It’s confidential, non-judgmental, and a safe place to share your experience. Together we will search the Scriptures for the truth of God’s Word concerning forgiveness.
When: Beginning Monday, March 13
Time: 7:00 pm-9:00 pm
Where: Manassas Center (9254 Center St. Manassas, Va 20110)

The meeting will be on Sunday, February 12, 2023, in the administrative conference room shortly after the 11:00 a.m. service. A light lunch will be provided.
