Anglicans for Life WLBS

The collected items included 2,583 diapers, 99 sets of baby clothes, 50 packages of baby wipes, 47 blankets, 10 Bibles for Moms, and numerous other items (toys, pacifiers, bibs, etc.). All of these items will be transported to Life First after the Memorial Day weekend and will be further distributed by them to new Moms who have come through the First Care Womens Health Centers in Manassas and Woodbridge and have chosen life for their child. 

Remembering Ron Davis

Ron Davis, beloved brother in Christ, and long-time member of All Saints’ Church, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. His funeral service details are below:

Saturday, May 27:

  • 11 a.m. visitation at All Saints’

  • 12 Noon service at All Saints’ Church

  • Reception to follow at All Saints’ Church

World's Largest Baby Shower - Last Call

Thanks to all who have participated in the Anglicans for Life World's Largest Baby Shower, All Saints' edition. This Sunday, May 21, is the last day to place your items in the playpen in the Atrium. All items will be removed after the second service on Sunday, inventoried and donated to Life First for their distribution efforts to new mothers who have chosen life for their child. Acceptable donations include diapers, wipes, new clothing, gender neutral blankets, pacifiers, bibs, toys and Bibles for Mom's (The Busy Mom's Bible is a good one). Ascension Day Service TONIGHT

Today is Ascension Day! Service will be held tonight at 7pm. Childcare is available if needed, for ages 5 and under.

What is Ascension Day?

Ascension Day is forty days after Easter. After Jesus’ rises again, he spends forty days with the disciples, and then “while he was blessing them, he withdrew from them and was carried up into heaven.” (Luke 24).

Dorcas Ministry Meeting, Saturday, June 3

The Dorcas Ministry will meet Saturday, June 3rd, in the Children’s Wing (Heaven room) 9:30-11:30 am. Please bring crocheting, knitting, sewing, and other items to work on while we are gathered, as well as items you have completed. We will bless and collect completed items for distribution to the poor, the sick, and the needy.

Someone will be at the main church doors to let you in from 9:20-9:40 a.m. If you arrive after that time or have any questions, please email Deacon Julie at jtilton@allsaintswoodbridge.org.

Upcoming PGC Classes

Protecting God's Children at All Saints’ Church is a required workshop for all those 14 and older who volunteer with youth and children (VBS volunteers, Nursery attendants, Youth Ministry). The next classes offered will be:

  • Thursday, June 8th, 7-9pm

  • Tuesday, June 27th, 7-9pm

  • Monday, July 17th, 7-9pm

Nursery and childcare for children in third grade and younger will be made available upon request at least one week prior to the class. 

Please RSVP to Tara with any childcare needs.  Everyone who plans to attend the workshop is asked to register by emailing Tara.

Protecting God’s Children is now updated with a PowerPoint presentation, to include recent photos and stats, thanks to a combined effort of our 2022 college summer interns and members of our congregation!
