It's Almost Soctober! AHG is collecting new, adult socks for the homeless

So why SOCKTOBER? Because every night in the United States an estimated 600,000 people are living on the streets and they need simple things, like socks, to help get them through the night. The number-one needed clothing item is new socks, but people rarely donate new socks to the homeless! The American Heritage Girls troop at All Saints’ will be collecting new socks, sorting them, adding notes of encouragement, and delivering them to local homeless ministries to distribute. You can help! Look for a box in the Atrium to make a donation. We are asking for donations in September because the distribution takes place in October.

Please, new, adult socks only. Questions? Contact Heidi or Sarah-Joy Reichert at

Serving the Homeless

Helping Serve Those in Need

Various times each year the All Saints' family prepares and serves a home-cooked dinner to those in need in our community. Be watching the bulletin and newsletter for the dates of our next opportunity to show how much we care. If you'd like to prepare something special, serve it to someone special, or just hang out with someone special, stop by the sign-up table in the Atrium the weeks just prior to each event.

Thanks, All Saints' Family, for all you do to help others.

Save these dates for opportunities to serve at Streetlight and at Hilda Barg Homeless Prevention Center:
