The next Food Giveaway is Saturday, May 11! Praise God for orchestrating a way for us to work together to share his love by giving food to those in need around us!

Volunteers are needed on Friday (unloading trucks, bagging produce, serving during the perishable food drive, and helping with set-up) and Saturday before, during, and after the giveaway. If you have a pick-up truck, we could also use your help picking up food donations Friday. Sign up to serve and experience the joy of giving firsthand!

We are looking for 60 egg cartons!

First Fruits Farm generously donated 90 dozen eggs for our food giveaway. The only problem is that they are in flats of 30. To enable us to more easily give them to our guests on Saturday, we would like to "repackage" them in egg cartons. We have managed to come up with 30 egg cartons already, but we need 60 more. Any egg cartons will work--cardboard, Styrofoam, plastic, 12-egg, 18-egg, etc. We are hoping to safely give out a dozen eggs to 90 families...without having a big mess to clean up on the atrium floor! Drop them by the church office or contact Tammy Bailey if you have any egg cartons to donate.

Wanna help repackage eggs?

We will work together Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. to move the eggs into the donated egg cartons.

It is a blessing to provide non-perishables as well as fresh meat and fresh produce to every family who comes!

We especially need donations of fresh fruits/vegetables to be collected Friday, May 10 between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Non-perishable Food items most needed:

cartons of oats
pancake mix
maseca (instant corn meal)
canned tuna
canned chicken
