October 26 is Pledge Sunday

Dear All Saints’ Church Family,

I want to begin by thanking each of you for your faithful stewardship and support of the ministries of All Saints’ Church through your time, talents, and treasure. God continues to graciously bless our congregation. Through our shared ministry, we all continue to grow in our knowledge of and faith in Christ, see new individuals and families added to our church family, and step into ever greater opportunities for mission in our community and around the world.

This is the season when we intentionally focus together on stewardship as a church family. Stewardship encompasses the entirety of our lives. Financial stewardship is one part of our response to the grace that God continues to pour out upon us.

In 1 Peter 4:10, God’s word teaches, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” God has richly blessed each of us. All stewardship, including how we order our finances, demonstrates our understanding and gratefulness for God’s grace at work in our lives.

Systematic, faithful giving is a personal choice and a spiritual discipline to which God calls us. I invite each of you to join me in prayer, asking God to speak to us and challenge us in our financial pledge for the coming year. For those who already tithe (the biblical tithe is 10 % of our income), may the Lord challenge us to new levels of giving. For those for whom scriptural tithing is new, I pray that this is the year you step out in faith to experience God’s grace and blessing through a new level of obedience to his command.

Please prayerfully review this tithing information and pledge worksheet. As you do this, rejoice together with me in God’s goodness to All Saints’ Church and for the ways he has enabled us to reach our community and the world with God’s love and healing power.

You can submit your financial pledge card online here, by returning the pledge card in your mailing in the addressed envelope included, or during the service on Pledge Sunday—October 26—when we will place our pledges on the Lord’s altar.

Pray with me, rejoice in God’s grace and faithfulness with me, and then join together with me in obediently responding with thanksgiving to God’s command and call to us.

Together with you in His service,

Scott+
