As we prepare to gather in remembrance of Mother Jessica Hughes, we are reaching out to ask for volunteer support to help with hospitality and logistics before and after her funeral on Monday, January 5 at 10:00 a.m.
Following the service, the church will host a simple reception in the Atrium to provide a welcoming space for fellowship and care. To help make this possible, we are seeking volunteers for the following:
Set-Up (Sunday, January 4 – after the 11 a.m. service)
· Setting up tables and chairs in the Atrium
Hospitality Support (Monday morning, January 5)
· Bringing out the water dispenser and cups for coffee and water.
· Preparing coffee and hot water
(All supplies and equipment are available in the church kitchen.)
These items will need to be ready before the funeral service concludes.
Tear-Down and Clean-Up (Monday, January 5 – approximately 1:00 p.m.)
· Assisting with clean-up and returning tables, chairs, and hospitality items
Any help you are able to offer, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated and helps us care well for one another as a church family during this time.
